From Changi, take the East Coast Parkway (ECP) towards the city. Continue on ECP and merge onto the Tampines Expressway (TPE). Follow TPE until you reach the exit for the North-South Expressway (NSE) towards Johor Bahru. Once on NSE, continue driving until you reach the exit for Jalan Desaru. Follow the signs to Desaru Beach. The entire drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Note that you will need to cross the Singapore-Malaysia border, so have your passport ready and be prepared for any toll fees.

Take the MRT from Changi Airport to Tanah Merah MRT Station (EW4). From Tanah Merah, transfer to a bus service (Bus 35) to go to the Pasir Ris MRT Station.
