Walking
From Clarke Quay MRT Station, head towards the exit that leads to Clarke Quay Central. Once you exit the station, walk straight towards the riverside promenade. Continue walking along the riverfront heading towards the direction of the Singapore River. You will pass by various eateries and shops. Keep walking until you reach the iconic Raffles Place area, which will be on your left. At the junction where you see the Cavenagh Bridge, cross over to the opposite side of the river. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Former City Hall on your right at 3 St Andrew's Rd.

If you are starting at the Clarke Quay area near the Central Mall, exit the mall and head towards the river. Walk along the riverside promenade, following the signs for the Merlion Park. As you walk, you will pass by numerous bars and restaurants. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the Merlion Park. From here, take the pathway that leads to the Esplanade, then continue along the road towards St Andrew’s Road. The Former City Hall will be located at the end of this road on your left.

Once inside the park, walk through the paths until you reach the exit at River Valley Road. Turn left and continue walking until you reach St Andrew's Road. Turn right on St Andrew's Road, and the Former City Hall will be just a few minutes away, located at 3 St Andrew's Rd on your right.
