Car
Start from the center of Philipsburg. Head south on Walter Nisbeth Road toward the beach. Continue straight, and Walter Nisbeth Road will become A.T. Illidge Road. Keep going for about 1.5 km. When you reach the intersection with the roundabout near the airport, take the second exit onto the A.J.C. Brouwer Road. Continue for another 2 km, and then look for a sign for Great Salt Pond on your right. Turn right onto the road leading to the pond. There is usually no charge for parking along the road.

From the Philipsburg bus terminal, take any bus heading toward Cole Bay. The fare is usually around $1.50. Ask the driver to let you off at the A.J.C. Brouwer Road. After disembarking, walk about 500 meters to the right along A.J.C. Brouwer Road until you see the signs for Great Salt Pond. The area is usually quiet, so enjoy the scenic walk!
