Bus
From Bratislava city center, make your way to the main bus station, Autobusová stanica Mlynské Nivy. You can take tram line 1 or 9 from the center to reach the station. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading towards Častá or Pezinok. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Častá, Červený Kameň.' From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to the castle. Follow the signs leading to Červený Kameň Castle, which is situated on a hilltop.
Train and Bus
Take a train from Bratislava Hlavná Stanica (the main train station) towards Pezinok. The train journey is about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pezinok station, exit the train and catch a local bus towards Častá. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Alight at 'Častá, Červený Kameň.' From there, follow the path leading to the castle, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental spots in downtown Bratislava. Head towards the river and follow the cycle path along the Danube river towards the northwest. The ride to Červený Kameň Castle is approximately 20 km and will take about 1.5 hours. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the castle as you approach Častá. The castle is accessible via a short uphill path.
Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk from the city center to Červený Kameň Castle. This will take you approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Start by heading northwest through the city, following the streets towards the outskirts. Make your way towards the village of Častá. Once you reach Častá, follow the signs to Červený Kameň Castle, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill from the village center.
