If you are driving from the center of Košice, head north on the main road (Hlavná) towards the intersection with the R4 expressway. Take the R4 exit towards Prešov and continue for about 8 km. Take the exit for Košice - Sever and follow the signs for Čermeľ. After about 1 km, turn left onto Čermeľská cesta. Continue straight for approximately 2 km until you reach the Košice Children's Railway, located at Čermeľ 1/A. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

To reach the Košice Children's Railway using public transportation, start at the main train station (Hlavná železničná stanica) in Košice. Take bus number 26 from the bus stop located outside the station (Bus stop: Hlavná stanica). This bus will take you directly to the Čermeľ stop, which is the closest stop to the railway. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. After you get off at Čermeľ, walk about 500 meters to the railway entrance at Čermeľ 1/A. Be sure to check the bus schedule for any potential changes. A single bus ticket costs around €0.70.
