From the city center of Martin, walk to the nearest bus station, which is 'Autobusová stanica Martin'. Look for bus routes heading towards Ružomberok. You should take a bus that stops at 'Ružomberok'. The journey typically takes around 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at the 'Ružomberok' bus station, exit and look for the local bus or shuttle that goes to Vlkolínec. Alternatively, you can also check if there are any direct buses to 'Vlkolínec' from Ružomberok. The ride to Vlkolínec should take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Vlkolínec'.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from the bus stop in Vlkolínec, head onto the only road that leads into the village. Follow this road uphill; it will take you directly to the area of Studňa Vlkolínec, which is located along the main path in the village. The walk from the bus stop to Studňa Vlkolínec should take around 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs leading to historical landmarks.

Bicycle Rental
If you are comfortable cycling, consider renting a bicycle in Martin. After renting, follow the bike paths towards Ružomberok. The route is mostly downhill, making for a pleasant ride. Once you reach Ružomberok, follow the directions mentioned above for the bus to Vlkolínec. You can park your bike at the foot of the village and then walk the remaining distance to Studňa Vlkolínec.
