From the center of Poprad, head to the main bus station located at Námestie sv. Egídia. Purchase a ticket to Zakopane, Poland. Buses to Zakopane run regularly, approximately every hour, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Chochołowska Valley stop, as not all buses stop directly there. Once you arrive at the Chochołowska Valley stop, you will see signs leading to the valley entrance.

Train and Bus
From Poprad, take a train from the Poprad-Tatry train station to Zakopane. This train ride offers beautiful views and takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Zakopane train station, exit and find the bus station located nearby. Look for buses heading to Chochołowska Valley. The bus ride from Zakopane to Chochołowska Valley takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule for the return trip.

If you prefer a more scenic route, you can walk to the Poprad-Tatry train station from the city center, which takes about 15 minutes. Once at the station, take the train to Zakopane.
