If you're traveling by car, first navigate to Zakopane, which is a central hub in the Tatra Mountains. From Zakopane, take the national road 47 (Zakopianka) towards Nowy Targ. After approximately 10 km, turn left onto the road leading to the 'Czarny Dunajec' village. Follow the signs to the parking area for Cudakowa Polana, located at the start of the black hiking trail (Szlak pieszy czarny). The parking may have a fee of approximately 10 PLN per day.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus or train to Zakopane. From Zakopane's bus station, you can catch a local bus (line 11 or similar) that heads towards 'Czarny Dunajec'. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the black hiking trailhead leading to Cudakowa Polana. The bus fare is around 5-10 PLN. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the trailhead, from which you will hike approximately 4 km to reach Cudakowa Polana.
