Bus
From Poprad, head to the Poprad Bus Station (Autobusová stanica Poprad), which is located near the city center. You can walk there from the main square (Námestie svätého Egídia) by heading southeast on Karpatská Street. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for a bus to Zakopane. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Zakopane bus station (Dworzec Autobusowy), and from there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to The Great Krokiew, which is about 2 km away.
Train
Make your way to the Poprad-Tatry Train Station (Železničná stanica Poprad-Tatry) by walking from the city center. Once at the station, take a train to Zakopane. Look for the train that stops at Zakopane station, and the journey will take around 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Zakopane station, you can either walk (approximately 2.5 km) to The Great Krokiew by heading southeast on ul. Kościuszki or take a local taxi for convenience.
Walking
If you are already in Zakopane, you can walk to The Great Krokiew from the city center. Start at the main street, ul. Krupówki, and head towards the southwest direction towards ul. Bronisława Czecha. Follow the signs pointing toward The Great Krokiew, which is located at ul. Bronisława Czecha 1. The walk will take you roughly 25-30 minutes, and you will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
Taxi
If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from your location in Poprad or Zakopane directly to The Great Krokiew. In Poprad, you can find taxis at the bus or train stations, or you can call one through a local taxi service. In Zakopane, taxis are readily available, and you can easily hail one from the street. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in, but the ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes from either Poprad or Zakopane.
