The trailhead to Veľké Solisko is accessible from this area, and you will need to park your car in the designated parking lot which may charge a fee of around €5 for the day.

If you prefer public transportation, take a regional bus from Poprad to Štrbské Pleso. Once you arrive at the Štrbské Pleso bus station, walk towards the main road (Cesta slobody) and follow the signs to the hiking trails. The hike to Veľké Solisko starts from this area.
