If you are driving from anywhere within Strbske Pleso, start by heading southwest on the main road (Štrbské Pleso - Vysoké Tatry). Continue along this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs directing you toward Vysoké Tatry. Keep an eye out for the coordinates 5252+75, which is the location of Krivánsky smajlík. There is a small parking area nearby where you can safely park your car.

Public Transportation

To reach Krivánsky smajlík via public transport, start at the Štrbské Pleso bus stop. Take a bus heading toward Vysoké Tatry; the bus will usually have a destination marked as Tatranska Lomnica or a similar direction. The journey should take around 10 minutes. Get off at the bus stop closest to the coordinates 5252+75. From the bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to Krivánsky smajlík, following the signs along the pedestrian paths.

Walking

If you prefer to walk from the center of Strbske Pleso, head towards the Tatra Electric Railway station. Follow the pedestrian path along the lake for about 1.5 kilometers. Continue straight until you reach the main road (Štrbské Pleso - Vysoké Tatry) and turn left. After about 500 meters, look for the signs that indicate the direction to Krivánsky smajlík. The entire walk should take approximately 30 minutes.
