Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Tatranská Lomnica. Take the Route 537 heading southwest. Continue on Route 537 for approximately 12 km until you reach the town of Žiar. As you approach Žiar, look for signs directing you towards the Unnamed Road leading to the Šarafiový waterfall. You may need to park your car at the nearest designated parking area. From there, follow the marked hiking trail that leads towards the waterfall, which is about a 30-minute walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Šarafiový waterfall using public transportation, start from Tatranská Lomnica. Take a bus towards the town of Poprad and get off at the Žiar stop. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes and costs approximately €2. From the Žiar bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to the Unnamed Road that leads to the waterfall. Follow the signs for the hiking trail. The walk from the bus stop to the waterfall takes about 30-40 minutes.
Hiking
Once you have parked your car or arrived by bus, follow the marked trail leading to Šarafiový waterfall. The trail is well-maintained but can be steep in some sections, so be prepared with appropriate hiking shoes. The total hiking time from the parking area or bus stop to the waterfall is approximately 30 minutes.
