    From the Žilina train station, take bus number 20 towards 'Hrabovská cesta'. The bus departs every 30 minutes. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Hrabová' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Malá Fatra National Park entrance, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. You'll head northeast on Hrabovská cesta until you reach the park entrance.

    If you are near the Žilina city center, you can walk to the Malá Fatra National Park. Start from the main square (Námestie Andreja Hlinku) and head west towards the Váh River. Cross the river at the pedestrian bridge and follow the path along the riverbank. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. This walk should take approximately 40-50 minutes.

  • Bicycle Rental

    You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Žilina, such as 'Žilinský cyklopoint'. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the Váh River and follow the dedicated bike paths.
