Getting There
Bus
Start at the main bus station in Bled, located on Cesta svobode. From there, take the bus towards Bohinjska Bistrica. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times and purchase your ticket at the station. Once you arrive at the Bohinjska Bistrica bus stop, transfer to a local bus heading towards Bohinjsko Jezero. After about 15 minutes, you will get off at the Bohinjsko Jezero stop. Follow the signs to the lake, which is just a short walk away.
Bike
Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Bled. Head towards the main road, Cesta svobode, and follow the signs towards Bohinjska Bistrica. The bike ride will take you through beautiful landscapes and will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. You will eventually reach Bohinjska Bistrica. From there, continue to follow the bike path towards Bohinjsko Jezero, which is another 15-20 minutes ride. The lake will be clearly visible once you approach it.
Walking
For the adventurous, you can enjoy a scenic walk from Bled to Bohinjsko Jezero. Start on Cesta svobode and walk towards the village of Bohinjska Bistrica. This is a longer trek, taking about 1.5 to 2 hours, but you will be rewarded with stunning views along the way. Once you reach Bohinjska Bistrica, follow the signs to the lake, which is about a 30-minute walk from there. Always stay on the designated paths and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you.
