Bus
From Bled, head to the Bled bus station located near the center of town. Look for the bus heading to Kobarid, which is usually marked with its final destination. Purchase your ticket from the ticket counter or the bus driver. The journey to Kobarid takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kobarid bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main road. Lake Krn is about a 30-minute walk from the bus station. Follow the signs towards the direction of the Soca River and take the path leading into the valley. Keep walking until you reach the clear waters of Lake Krn.

Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can hike to Lake Krn from Bled. Start your hike from Bled, following the marked hiking trails that lead towards Kobarid. The hike is approximately 20 kilometers and can take around 5 to 6 hours, depending on your pace. Follow the trail signs and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Triglav National Park as you make your way. Once you reach Kobarid, you can then ask locals for directions to Lake Krn, which is a short hike uphill from the town center.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Bled to Kobarid. Simply ask your accommodation to arrange a taxi for you or find a taxi at designated taxi stands in Bled. The drive takes about an hour, and once you arrive in Kobarid, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Lake Krn. From there, it is a short walk to the lake itself.
