Getting There

Bus
From Bled, head to the Bled Bus Station located near the center of town. Purchase a ticket to Soča, which is approximately a 45-minute ride. The bus will take you through scenic routes. Once you arrive at the Soča village stop, get off and head towards Lepena. You can either walk (about 30 minutes) or ask locals for directions to Šunikov vodni gaj, which is about 3 km from the bus stop.

If you are already in Bled and prefer to walk, start by heading down to the main road, which is the Lake Bled promenade. Follow the signs towards the Bled Bus Station. Once you reach the station, take the bus to Soča. After reaching Soča, walk towards Lepena by following the main road. Look for signs pointing to Šunikov vodni gaj or ask locals for the best walking route.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Bled. Once you have your bike, follow the main road out of Bled towards the direction of Soča. The ride is approximately 12 km and takes about 40-50 minutes. As you approach Soča, look for signs directing you to Lepena. Once in Lepena, you should be able to find Šunikov vodni gaj easily.
