Bus
From Bohinj, walk to the nearest bus stop in your area. Look for the bus line that goes to Ljubljana. The main bus station in Bohinj is located in the village of Bohinjska Bistrica. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to Ljubljana. After arriving at the main bus station in Ljubljana, exit the bus and walk towards Trg Osvoboditve, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus station. From Trg Osvoboditve, take a left onto Slovenska cesta and continue straight until you reach the Ljubljanica River. Cross the river using the nearest bridge (Most Slovenskih Knjig) and turn right onto Gruberjevo nabrežje. Continue walking along the riverbank for approximately 10 minutes until you arrive at Park Špica, located at Gruberjevo nabrežje 20.

Begin your journey at the Bohinj Jezero train station. Board a train heading towards Ljubljana. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana train station, exit the station and head towards the nearby bus station if you prefer to take a bus, or you can walk. To walk, exit the train station and walk straight down Trg Osvoboditve. From there, take a left onto Slovenska cesta. Continue straight until you reach the Ljubljanica River. Cross the river using the nearest bridge (Most Slovenskih Knjig) and turn right onto Gruberjevo nabrežje. Walk alongside the river for about 10 minutes until you reach Park Špica at Gruberjevo nabrežje 20.

If you are already in central Bohinj or nearby, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head towards the main road leading to Lake Bohinj and follow the signs for the bus or train station. Once you reach the bus or train station, you can take either method of transport to reach Ljubljana. Alternatively, if you are up for an adventure, walk towards the village of Stara Fužina, then continue on foot along the marked hiking trails towards the Bohinj Valley. Eventually, you will reach the main road leading to Ljubljana. Continue following the road for a scenic experience but ensure you keep track of your map or GPS to not stray too far. Once you reach Ljubljana, follow the previous directions to Park Špica.
