Walking
Start your journey at the Izola bus station located in the city center. Exit the station and head southeast on Gregorčičeva ulica towards the coast. After a short walk, turn left onto Obala, the promenade along the sea. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the marina area. From the marina, follow the path that leads towards the nearby village of Strunjan. This path will take you through beautiful coastal scenery. As you approach Strunjan, look for signs directing you to Javni zavod krajinski park Strunjan, which is located about 2 km from the marina, on Strunjan 152 in Portorož.

Public Transport
From Izola, take the local bus service to Portorož. Buses leave from the main bus station in Izola. Once you arrive in Portorož, disembark at the Strunjan stop. From there, it's about a 10 to 15-minute walk to Javni zavod krajinski park Strunjan. Head north towards Strunjan 152, following the signs for the park. The park is situated in a scenic area, making the walk enjoyable.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Izola. Begin your ride by heading toward the coastal path that runs along the waterfront. Follow the path towards Portorož. Once you reach the outskirts of Portorož, continue to follow the signs for Strunjan. The ride is approximately 5 km and should take about 15-20 minutes. Ensure to follow the bike lanes where available to ensure a safe journey.
