From the center of Izola, head towards the waterfront promenade (Obala). Walk along the promenade heading towards the direction of Piran. This walk will take you along the beautiful Adriatic Sea and should take approximately 30-40 minutes. As you approach Piran, keep following the signs for the town center.

If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest bus stop in Izola (located near the town center). Take the bus that is heading towards Piran. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Piran, exit the bus and walk towards the coast, following the signs to the town center. The Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum is located at Cankarjevo nabrežje 3, just a short 10-minute walk from the bus station.
