    Public Bus

    From Izola, head to the main bus station located at Obala 2. Take a bus towards Divača; the journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Divača bus station, exit the bus and head east towards the main road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Matavun. The Skocjan Caves will be located on your left at Matavun 12.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Izola. Start by heading toward the coastal promenade and follow the signs for the cycling path towards Koper. Continue on this path until you reach the outskirts of Koper. From there, look for signs leading to Divača; you will need to navigate through some local roads for about 14 kilometers. The final destination, Skocjan Caves, is located at Matavun 12, where you can park your bicycle safely.

    Walking

    For the adventurous, walking from Izola to Skocjan Caves is possible but will take several hours. Start at the center of Izola and head north towards the coastal road, following the signs towards Koper. Once you reach Koper, continue straight toward Divača on foot, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. Upon reaching Divača, ask for directions to Matavun, as it is a small village. The Skocjan Caves are located at Matavun 12.
