Start at the main square in Kamnik, known as Glavni trg. From there, head northeast towards the intersection with Ulica Talcev. Turn left onto Ulica Talcev and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Žale Street (Žale). Follow Žale Street for about 1.2 kilometers. You will see the Spomenik padlim v 1. svetovni vojni (Memorial to those who fell in WWI) on your right at Žale 1. The memorial is located in a small park area, making it a peaceful spot to reflect.

From the main square in Kamnik, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Glavni trg. Take bus number 1 towards Domžale. After approximately 5 minutes, get off at the stop called Žale.
