Start at the Koper city center, specifically at the Tito Square (Tito trg). From the square, head southeast towards the waterfront. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the Port of Koper. Once you reach the Port, look for signs directing you towards Trieste. You will need to cross the border into Italy, so ensure you have your identification. After crossing the border, you will continue on foot towards the main streets of Trieste. Follow Via Roma until you reach Piazza Nicolò Tommaseo, where the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas is located.

From Koper, head to the main bus station located at the end of Piran Street (Ulica Piran). Purchase a ticket to Trieste from the kiosk at the station. Buses to Trieste run frequently, approximately every hour. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit and head towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Nicolò Tommaseo. The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas will be on your left as you enter the square.

To reach the train station, walk to the Koper railway station, which is located a short distance from the city center. Purchase a ticket for a train to Trieste.
