From the center of Nova Gorica, walk to the main bus station located near the main square (Trg Edvarda Kardelja). Take the bus towards 'Aquileia' which will take you directly to the town. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Aquileia, get off at the stop closest to 'Via XXIV Maggio'. The archaeological area is a short walk from the bus stop.

Head to the Nova Gorica train station. Take a train to the nearest station that connects to Aquileia; this will likely be in the direction of Udine. Once you arrive at the station, transfer to a local bus that goes to Aquileia. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. After arriving in Aquileia, walk towards 'Via XXIV Maggio' where the archaeological area is located. The total travel time may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
