From there, you can either take a local bus to Piazza Giacomo Matteotti or walk the remaining distance, which is about 1.5 km.

Make your way to the Nova Gorica train station (Železniška postaja Nova Gorica), located at Kolodvorska ulica 3. Purchase a ticket for the train heading to Udine. The train journey lasts around 30 minutes. When you arrive at Udine train station (Stazione di Udine), exit and walk towards the city center. Follow signs for Corso Italia and then Via Vittorio Veneto, which will lead you to Piazza Giacomo Matteotti, approximately 1.5 km from the station.
