Walking
From the center of Nova Gorica, head east towards the Main Bus Station (Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica). Once you reach the bus station, continue walking along the main road, heading towards the border with Italy. After about 20 minutes, you will cross the border into Italy. Keep walking straight, and you will enter Udine. Piazza XX Settembre is located in the city center, just a short walk from the main street (Via Vittorio Veneto). Look for the large square with fountains and cafes.
