Bus
From the center of Nova Gorica, head to the Nova Gorica bus station located on Ulica Tolminskih puntarjev. You can take a bus towards Kobarid, which is a direct route. Buses to Kobarid are fairly frequent, so check the local timetable. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kobarid bus station, exit the station and walk straight down the main road (Gregorčičeva ulica) for about 5 minutes until you reach your destination at Gregorčičeva ulica 10. The Kobarid Museum will be on your left.

Train and Bus
Start at the Nova Gorica train station, located at Kolodvorska ulica. Take a train towards Most na Soči. The train journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Most na Soči, transfer to a bus heading to Kobarid. The bus ride will take about 25 minutes. Upon arrival at the Kobarid bus station, walk along the main road (Gregorčičeva ulica) for approximately 5 minutes until you reach Gregorčičeva ulica 10, where Kobarid Museum is located on your left.

If you are up for a scenic walk, you can take a hike from Nova Gorica to Kobarid. Start by heading north towards the Soča River and follow the riverbank. This is a longer route which can take around 2-3 hours depending on your walking speed. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding nature. Eventually, you will reach Kobarid. Once in Kobarid, navigate to Gregorčičeva ulica and walk to number 10 where the museum is located.
