Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the center of Portorož, head north on the main street, Obala. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Ulica 1. Maja. Follow this street until you reach the bus station, which is on your right. From the bus station, you can take a local bus or continue walking towards Piran. If you choose to walk, follow the path along the coastline towards Piran, enjoying the scenic views. After about a 30-minute walk, you will arrive at the entrance of Piran. Once in Piran, continue straight until you reach Tartini Square, the central plaza. From Tartini Square, walk towards the narrow streets leading uphill. Follow the signs towards the church until you reach Adamičeva ulica, where Duomo di San Giorgio is located.

    From the main bus station in Portorož, take a local bus to Piran. The bus service is frequent, and the journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Piran bus station, exit and walk straight towards the center of Piran. After passing through the main square, head up the hill via the narrow streets following the signs for Duomo di San Giorgio. The church will be on Adamičeva ulica, a short walk from the square.
