Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Portorož, head towards the coastal promenade (Obala). Walk along the promenade heading towards the direction of the sea until you reach the end of the promenade. Continue walking straight, passing by the marina on your right. When you reach the main road (Ulica 1. maja), turn left and follow the road. After about 1 km, you will see signs directing you to Piran. Keep following the road as it curves and leads you directly into Piran. As you approach Piran, you will notice the beautiful old town walls in the distance.

  • Public Transport

    From any bus stop in Portorož, take a local bus heading towards Piran. The buses are frequent, and you can buy tickets at the kiosk or on the bus itself. The journey lasts about 15 minutes. Get off at the main bus stop in Piran, which is located near the city center. From the bus stop, walk straight towards the old town, and within a few minutes, you will find yourself in the heart of Piran.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Portorož. Once you have your bike, head towards the coastal promenade (Obala) and follow the same route as described for walking. The bike ride to Piran is about 3 km and will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful coastal views along the way. Once you arrive in Piran, you can park your bicycle near the entrance of the old town.
