From Portorož, start at the main promenade along the coast. Head north towards the town of Piran. Follow the signs towards Piran as you walk along the waterfront. This scenic route takes you approximately 30-40 minutes. As you approach Piran, you'll come across a beautiful beach and charming cafes. Upon entering Piran, continue straight on the main street (Ulica 1. maja). After a few minutes, you'll see the city walls in the distance. Follow the signs towards 'Walls of Piran' and take the steps up to Ulica IX. korpusa, where the entrance to the Walls of Piran is located.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus from Portorož to Piran. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Board the bus at the Portorož bus station, which is located near the main promenade. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Piran bus station, exit and head towards the town center by following the signs. Walk straight along the main street (Ulica 1. maja) until you see the city walls. Continue towards Ulica IX. korpusa, where you will find the entrance to the Walls of Piran.
