Lepa Vida Bar: A Gem on the Ljubljanica River

Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Postojna Main Square (Glavni trg). From the square, head south towards the main street, Tržaška cesta. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Ljubljanska cesta. Cross the street and keep walking straight until you see a sign for the bus station. From the bus station, you can take a bus to Ljubljana. Once in Ljubljana, make your way to the main train station (Železniška postaja). From there, take a local bus or tram towards the city center, getting off at the 'Petkovškovo nabrežje' stop. Lepa Vida Bar is located at Petkovškovo nabrežje 23, just a short walk from the stop.

  From the Postojna Main Bus Station, take a regional bus to Ljubljana. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. After arriving in Ljubljana, exit the bus at the Ljubljana Bus Station. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus. If walking, head towards Trg Osvobodilne Fronte and then follow the road signs to the banks of the Ljubljanica River. Lepa Vida Bar is located at Petkovškovo nabrežje 23, near the river, which is easily accessible from the main pedestrian areas.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Postojna to Ljubljana. Simply call a local taxi service or use a ride-hailing app. The drive will take about 45 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you at Petkovškovo nabrežje 23. The bar is located along the river, making it a picturesque area to enjoy.
