Getting There

    From Sežana, head to the Sežana bus station located in the center of town. Look for the bus service to Divača, which runs regularly. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Divača bus station, exit the bus and head toward the main road (Route 103) in the direction of Matavun. Follow the signs for Skocjan Caves, which is approximately a 30-minute walk (around 2.5 km) along the road.

    If you prefer to walk the entire way from Sežana to Skocjan Caves, start at the Sežana center and walk along the main road (Route 103) towards Divača. This route is approximately 6 km and will take around 1.5 hours. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Skocjan Caves as you approach Matavun. The path is relatively straightforward, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way.

  • Bicycle
