From Škocjan Caves, head northwest on the main road (H4) towards the town of Divača. After approximately 5 km, take the exit onto the A1 motorway towards Trieste. Drive for about 25 km until you reach the exit for Prosecco. Continue on local roads following signs for Prosecco-Contovello. From Škocjan Caves, take a bus to Divača bus station. This journey will take about 30 minutes. From Divača, you will need to take a train to Trieste. Get off at the Prosecco stop, and from there, it is a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to Azienda agricola Verginella at Prosecco-Contovello, 460.
