Walking
From the center of Škofja Loka, start at the main square (Glavni trg). Head southwest towards the Ljubljanica River. Cross the river via the stone bridge (Kamniški most) and continue straight until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Cankarjeva ulica. Follow this street as it curves and turns into Kranjska ulica. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will start to see signs directing you towards Marijino znamenje. As you approach, look for a small path leading upwards towards the landmark, which is located on a hill. The landmark is visible from a distance, marked by a statue.

Public transport
From the main bus station in Škofja Loka, take bus number 5 towards the village of Sora. The ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Sora' stop. From there, follow the road signs indicating the direction to Marijino znamenje. It is approximately a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Make sure to follow the path leading directly to the landmark, which is set in a scenic area with a view.
