Walking
From the center of Škofja Loka, head east on the main street (Cankarjeva cesta) towards the bridge over the Sora River. Cross the bridge and continue straight. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Poljanska cesta. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Gabrovica Street. Turn right onto Gabrovica Street and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Wild Loka Castle (Old Castle) as you approach. Follow the signs, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the castle, which is located on a hilltop offering beautiful views of the surrounding area.

From the main bus station in Škofja Loka, take the bus towards Gabrovica. The bus will take you closer to the area near Wild Loka Castle (Old Castle). Once you arrive at the Gabrovica stop, disembark and walk uphill towards the castle. Look for signs directing you to the castle, which is located approximately 1 kilometer away from the bus stop. The path is well-marked and leads you through scenic views.
