Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, you can reach Savica Waterfall by taking the road from Bohinj Lake. From the lake, head northeast on road 202 towards Savica Waterfall. There will be signs directing you to the waterfall. The parking lot is located about 1 km from the waterfall entrance. You will need to pay a small parking fee of approximately €5. After parking, it’s a scenic 20-minute walk along a well-maintained path to the waterfall.

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Bled to Bohinjska Bistrica and then transfer to a local bus heading to the Savica Waterfall stop. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes.
