Walking
Start your journey at the center of Auki, at the main market area. From the market, head south towards the main road (Fiu Road). Follow Fiu Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto the road that leads towards Sulofoloa. Continue walking along this road for approximately 2 kilometers, enjoying the local scenery. You will come across several small villages and may want to stop to ask locals for directions. After reaching Sulofoloa, look for signs indicating Tataabau Waterfall. It is approximately 1 kilometer from the main road. Follow the marked trail that leads into the lush greenery until you arrive at the waterfall.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Auki. Begin your journey at the main square and head south towards Fiu Road. Cycle on Fiu Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. Here, turn left onto the Sulofoloa road. Continue cycling on this road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Once you reach Sulofoloa, look for a path leading to Tataabau Waterfall, which is about 1 kilometer from the main road. Park your bicycle and follow the trail into the jungle until you reach the waterfall.
Motorbike (Rental)
First, rent a motorbike from a local rental service in Auki. Start at the Auki market and proceed south towards Fiu Road. Follow Fiu Road for 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at a junction. Turn left at the junction onto the road that leads to Sulofoloa. Continue riding for about 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for any signs that indicate Tataabau Waterfall. Once in Sulofoloa, park your bike and follow the marked path that leads approximately 1 kilometer into the forest, where you will find the waterfall.
