Walking
If you are in the center of Mogadishu, start at the main market area (Bakarah Market). Head southwest along the main road, which is known as Makkah Al-Mukarama Road. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the large green space known as Banadir Park on your left. The mosque is located just a short distance further down the road.

From the airport, exit the airport premises and turn right onto Airport Road. Walk approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Makkah Al-Mukarama Road. Turn left onto Makkah Al-Mukarama Road and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will see the mosque on your right-hand side as you approach the central area of Xamar Weyne.

If you are in the vicinity of the Presidential Palace, start walking southeast towards the coast along the main road. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Makkah Al-Mukarama Road. Walk another 1 kilometer; the mosque will be visible ahead. It is situated in the Dagmada Xamar Weyne area, easily accessible from the main thoroughfare.
