Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Cape Town city center. Head south on the M3 highway, and follow the signs for Muizenberg. Continue on the M3 until it merges into the M5. Keep an eye out for the signs towards Fish Hoek and Glencairn, which will lead you onto the M64. Follow the M64 until you reach Glencairn. Once in Glencairn, look for the Elsie's Peak hiking trail entrance, which is located near the parking area. There is no entrance fee for the hike, but be sure to park in designated areas.

If you prefer public transportation, take the Metrorail train from Cape Town to Fish Hoek Station. Trains run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 60 minutes. Once you arrive at Fish Hoek Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Kommetjie Road). From there, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) towards Glencairn, or you can catch a local taxi (minibus) that will take you closer to the Elsie's Peak hiking trail. The taxi fare is usually around R10-15. Look for signs leading to the hiking trail from the drop-off point.
