Getting There

  • Train

    Begin your journey at Cape Town Station. Purchase a ticket for the train heading to Somerset West, which runs regularly. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride for approximately 50 minutes. Disembark at the Strand Station. From the station, walk towards the beach and head left along Beach Road. Waterworld Strand will be located on your right, opposite #195 Beach Rd.

  • Bus

    Start your trip by going to the Cape Town Civic Centre. From there, catch the Golden Arrow bus number 100 or 102, which goes to Strand. The bus ride should take about 1 hour. After getting off at the Strand Bus Station, walk towards the beach, then turn left onto Beach Road. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will find Waterworld Strand on your right, opposite #195 Beach Rd.

  • MyCiTi Bus

    Make your way to the MyCiTi bus station at the Civic Centre. Board the MyCiTi bus heading to Somerset West.
