If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Underberg. Head north on the R617 towards Himeville. After about 18 km, turn right onto the R56. Continue on the R56 for approximately 15 km until you reach the turnoff for the R600. Take the R600, which will lead you into the Drakensberg region. Follow the R600 for about 20 km until you reach a sign for the Roman Baths rock pools. Turn onto the gravel road and continue for about 5 km, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to the parking area. There should be a designated parking lot where you can leave your vehicle.

For those using public transport, take a bus from Durban to Underberg. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Underberg, you can hire a local taxi or shuttle service to take you to the Roman Baths rock pools. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand, as costs can vary. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. It is recommended to arrange for the taxi to pick you up after your visit, as public transport may not be frequent in this area.
