If you are driving within iSimangaliso Wetland Park, start from the main entrance at the N2 highway. Follow the signs to the St. Lucia area. Once you reach the town of St. Lucia, continue along the main road until you see signs for the Muzi Pan. The turn-off is approximately 6 km from St. Lucia. Follow the gravel road for about 4 km until you reach the Muzi Pan parking area. Be prepared for possible fees at the entrance to iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

Public Transportation
To reach Muzi Pan via public transport, catch a minibus taxi from St. Lucia to the entrance of iSimangaliso Wetland Park. The taxis are usually parked near the town center. Inform the driver that you are going to Muzi Pan. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you may need to arrange for a local guide or use a hired vehicle to reach the Muzi Pan area, as public transport does not go directly there. Be sure to check for the return schedule of the minibus taxis.

If you are staying in St. Lucia and prefer to walk, it is about a 6 km trek to the Muzi Pan entrance. Take the main road out of town heading towards the park. Be sure to carry plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes. Once at the park entrance, you will need to arrange for a vehicle or guided tour to reach Muzi Pan, as it is not accessible on foot from the entrance.
