From any location in Lowveld, head towards the town of Tzaneen. The most common route is to take the R71 road. Once you reach Tzaneen, continue on the R71 until you reach the junction with the R36. Turn left onto the R36 and follow the signs towards Modjadjiskloof. After about 20 kilometers, you will see signs for the Wolkberg Wilderness Area. Turn onto the gravel road leading to the wilderness area. Be cautious as the road can be rough and may require a 4x4 vehicle, especially during the rainy season.
