To reach Madikwe Game Reserve from Pilanesberg National Park by car, start by exiting the park through the Bakgatla Gate. From there, turn left onto the R566 road and continue for about 22 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the R49. Turn left onto the R49 and follow it for approximately 36 kilometers. You will see signs for Madikwe Game Reserve along the way. As you approach the reserve, you will need to pay an entrance fee, which varies depending on your vehicle type and number of passengers.

Unfortunately, there is limited public transport directly from Pilanesberg National Park to Madikwe Game Reserve. However, you can arrange for a shuttle service or taxi from the nearest town, which is Sun City. From Sun City, you can hire a taxi that will take you to Madikwe Game Reserve. This option might require advance booking. The taxi fare can vary, but expect to pay around R800 to R1200 for a one-way trip. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your journey.
