Car
If you're driving from cities like Rustenburg or Mahikeng, take the R565 from Rustenburg or the N18 from Mahikeng. Follow the signs towards the Madikwe Game Reserve. Once you reach the gate of the reserve, you will need to pay an entrance fee of approximately R150 per vehicle. After entering the reserve, follow the signs to Madikwe Safari Lodge. The lodge is about a 45-minute drive from the entrance of the reserve.

Public Transportation
To reach Madikwe Safari Lodge using public transport, you can take a bus to either Rustenburg or Mahikeng. From Rustenburg, take a taxi or shuttle service to the Madikwe Game Reserve entrance. Alternatively, if you arrive in Mahikeng, you can hire a private taxi or shuttle to take you directly to the lodge. Ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your journey. Expect to pay around R500 for a taxi from either city to the lodge.

Airport Transfer
The nearest major airport is Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Botswana. From there, you can arrange for a private transfer to Madikwe Safari Lodge, which will take about 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly into Lanseria International Airport, and book a shuttle service that will take approximately 3 hours to reach the lodge. Shuttle fares can range from R800 to R1200 per person, depending on the service provider.
