From Pretoria CBD, take the Gautrain to Centurion Station. At Centurion, transfer to a local bus or a minibus taxi heading towards R511 or Hennops. This bus will drop you off close to the R511 road. Once you are near the R511, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the Hennops Hiking Trail entrance. Follow the signs along the R511 and ask locals if you're unsure of the path.

Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the Pretoria Botanical Gardens, you can walk to the Hennops Hiking Trail. Head northeast on the Jan Shoba Road until you reach the R511. Turn right on the R511 and continue walking for about 4 kilometers. The entrance to the hiking trail will be on your left. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Pretoria to the Hennops Hiking Trail. Start from the Pretoria CBD and head towards the R101 road. Follow the R101 which leads to the R511. Once you reach the R511, continue cycling for about 5 kilometers until you see the entrance to Hennops on your right. It’s a scenic ride, so enjoy the local views along the way!
