From Pretoria Central Station, take the Metrorail train towards the northern suburbs. Disembark at the Hatfield station. From Hatfield, you can catch a local taxi (minibus) towards the R511 area. Inform the driver that you are heading to Hennops Offroad Trail. The taxi will drop you off near the R511. From there, walk along the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the Hennops Offroad Trail.

Bicycle
Starting from the Pretoria Botanical Gardens, head north on the R101. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with the R511. Turn left onto the R511 and cycle approximately 10 kilometers. The entrance to Hennops Offroad Trail will be on your right side. Ensure you have a map or GPS for navigation.

Walking
If you are near the Pretoria Zoo, you can walk towards the R511. Head northwest along the local roads, following signs for the R511. It will take about 2 hours of walking to reach the trail entrance, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water. Once you reach the R511, walk approximately 1 kilometer to the entrance of Hennops Offroad Trail.
