Car
If you are driving from downtown Charleston, head west on Broad St toward Meeting St, then take a left onto Meeting St. Merge onto US-17 N and continue for about 10 miles. Take the exit for SC-61 toward Ashley River Rd. Continue on SC-61 for about 4 miles and then turn right onto Magnolia Plantation Rd. Follow the signs to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Parking is available on-site, and there is a small fee for entry.

From downtown Charleston, you can take the CARTA bus (Route 10) towards West Ashley. Board the bus at the nearest stop on King St. and ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of US-17 and SC-61.
