Walking
From Charleston Waterfront Park, head towards the east side of the park, where you can see the water. Exit the park at the end of Concord Street, which leads directly to East Bay Street. Turn left onto East Bay Street and walk north for about 0.4 miles (approximately 10 minutes). When you reach the intersection with Meeting Street, turn right. The Charleston City Market will be on your left at 188 Meeting St.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations near Waterfront Park. Once you have a bike, exit the park and head to East Bay Street. Ride north along East Bay Street for about 0.4 miles (approximately 5 minutes). At the intersection with Meeting Street, turn right. The Charleston City Market will be located on your left at 188 Meeting St. Please note that bike rentals typically cost around $10-15 per hour.

Take the DASH (Downtown Area Shuttle) bus, which is free for all passengers. The nearest DASH stop to Waterfront Park is located at the corner of East Bay Street and Calhoun Street. Board the bus heading towards the Visitor Center. After a short ride, get off at the stop at Meeting Street. From there, it’s a short walk to the Charleston City Market, which is located at 188 Meeting St. The ride should take about 5 minutes, and you can check the DASH bus schedule for the next departure times.
