From the center of Mount Pleasant, head south on Main Street towards Coleman Blvd. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Shem Creek. Follow the signs to the Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park. Once you arrive at the park, look for the bus stop for the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) on Coleman Blvd. Take the CARTA bus #40 towards Charleston. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Anson St. and East Bay St. Alight the bus and walk north on East Bay St. until you reach the intersection with Anson St. The Charleston Carriage Works will be right ahead at 20 Anson St.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from any local rental shop in Mount Pleasant. Start from the Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park and follow the bike path along Coleman Blvd. towards downtown Charleston. Once you reach the intersection with East Bay St., turn right and continue straight until you reach Anson St. The Charleston Carriage Works is located at 20 Anson St. Make sure to lock up your bike securely before entering.
