From Columbia Riverfront Park, head northwest on Gervais St toward Assembly St. Continue straight onto Broad River Rd. After about 4 miles, you will see Harbison State Forest on your right at 5600 Broad River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212. There is free parking available at the forest entrance.

Begin at Columbia Riverfront Park and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take the bus route that heads toward Broad River Rd. Depending on the service schedule, you might need to transfer buses at a downtown terminal. Once on the correct bus, stay on until you reach a stop closest to 5600 Broad River Rd. Prepare for a short walk to the forest entrance. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for fares and exact route details.

If you prefer to bike, exit Columbia Riverfront Park and head northwest on Gervais St. Turn onto Broad River Rd and continue biking for about 4 miles.
